Neutrality
A neutral exchange environment where participants control their own peering relationships.
About Us
PIT Miami brings PIT LATAM's operational knowledge, ecosystem relationships and customer focus into the United States for networks that depend on efficient North-South traffic exchange.
Our mission is to be the interconnection hub between North America and Latin America. PIT Miami is designed for participants that want a neutral, performance-oriented exchange point in Miami, Florida, with a clear path into LATAM ecosystems.
We focus on customer experience, operational clarity and lower latency. The result is a straightforward IXP environment where networks can exchange traffic locally, improve routing control and prepare for regional growth.
At the PIT group, we have more than eight years of experience creating Internet interconnection ecosystems for regional markets. Our founder, Salvador Bertenbreiter, has been passionate about peering for years and created his first Internet Exchange Point more than twelve years ago.
The PIT story began in Peru. From there, we expanded into Colombia, Argentina, Guatemala, Ecuador, Chile and now the United States through PIT Miami.
PIT LATAM has built interconnection ecosystems for Latin American markets. PIT Miami extends that experience to networks looking for predictable service, practical technical standards and access to a broader regional community.
